Job Description

At Burberry, we believe creativity opens spaces. Our purpose is to unlock the power of imagination to push boundaries and open new possibilities for our people, our customers, and our communities. This is the core belief that has guided Burberry since it was founded in 1856 and is central to how we operate as a company today.

We aim to provide an environment for creative minds from different backgrounds to thrive, bringing a wide range of skills and experiences to everything we do. As a purposeful, values-driven brand, we are committed to being a force for good in the world as well, creating the next generation of sustainable luxury for customers, driving industry change, and championing our communities.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a high-potential candidate to join the Decision Analytics team, a part of the wider Data & Analytics team. We are an award-winning team (DataIQ Awards 2023, 2024 & 2025) and work as an enterprise function, providing analytical support across many business areas including: commercial, customer, merchandising, marketing, and platform.

You’ll make the most of a modern, well-supported data stack, utilising leading technology in the field – Databricks, Looker, and Snowplow. You’ll find yourself in a team that delivers tangible analytical value to the business and is passionate about training and development. Finally, you’ll be working on a global scale but in a company small enough that everyone can have their voice heard and make a difference.

We are recruiting a Data Analyst to join us.

Responsibilities

  • Customer & Commercial Analytics: analyse customer behaviour, journeys, and commercial performance to identify opportunities and explain changes in business performance.
  • Insight Delivery: you’ll be directly responsible for extracting, manipulating, and interpreting the wealth of information available to elevate your stakeholders beyond BAU reporting, allowing them to make decisions from a position of knowledge.
  • Marketing: extend your knowledge of online & offline marketing to analyse campaigns, customer touchpoints, and behaviour; understanding how different channels influence commercial trade.
  • Clickstream: become an expert in clickstream and behavioural data, so you can support our main stakeholders in understanding our digital journey and its value to the business.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: you must be experienced with analytical methods, utilising and further developing knowledge of techniques such as cohort analysis, customer segmentation, experimentation, applying appropriate approaches with support from the wider team.
  • Delivery Management: value-led prioritisation of your work and ensuring excellence in day-to-day operational and project delivery.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: work with stakeholders to understand their challenges, share insights confidently, and progressively take ownership of analytical work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
