Data Analyst

Location: London or Leeds/Hybrid

Salary: Up to £46,000

The Overview

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected organisation at the centre of workforce strategy and reward analysis. You will play a key role in delivering evidence-based insights that influence large-scale workforce planning and pay decisions, while working with senior stakeholders across a complex public sector environment.

The Company

They are a national membership organisation that supports employers across a large and complex workforce landscape. Their analytics function provides independent, evidence-led insight to support workforce strategy, pay modelling and policy development. Operating in a politically sensitive environment, they are committed to delivering objective, high-quality evidence that stands up to scrutiny.

The Role

  • Delivering workforce and pay analysis to support strategic decision-making and policy development
  • Building and maintaining complex Excel-based workforce and financial models
  • Modelling the impact of pay changes, workforce growth, retention trends and employment policy proposals
  • Developing costings and long-term forecasts using scenario modelling techniques
  • Analysing large workforce and payroll datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities
  • Translating policy questions into analytical specifications and actionable insights
  • Producing clear reports and recommendations for senior, non-technical stakeholders
  • Presenting findings and technical advice to leadership teams and external partners
  • Supporting peer review processes and contributing to analytical best practice
  • Building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across policy, workforce and reward functions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
