About The Role

We are seeking a meticulous and data-driven Product Data Analyst to join our client's dynamic team on a permanent, full-time basis in Castle Donington. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about data accuracy and process improvement to take ownership of product and pricing data across multiple platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of product information, ensuring that data is accurate, consistent, and reliable. You will work closely with various internal teams to optimize data management processes, conduct audits, and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision-making. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong analytical mindset and experience working with ERP systems and data management tools, seeking to contribute to a growing organization while advancing their career.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills and analytical capabilities, including:

  • Experience working with ERP systems such as Business Central and Linnworks, with a preference for candidates familiar with these platforms.
  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Power BI for data querying, visualization, and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to data validation and correction.
  • Experience working with diverse datasets, ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience in a data analysis or product management role is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks aimed at maintaining and improving product data quality, including:

  • Creating and entering detailed product records, including pricing, dimensions, and categorization.
  • Maintaining accurate cost and customer pricing data, validating updates, and ensuring consistency across all platforms.
  • Investigating discrepancies in product data and implementing corrective actions to resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and streamline data management workflows.
  • Conducting routine audits of product and pricing data to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance.
  • Developing and implementing quality assurance processes to enhance data integrity.
  • Analyzing product and pricing data trends to support business insights and decision-making.
  • Producing comprehensive reports and developing KPIs to monitor data quality and operational performance.
