About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team in the role of Public Sector Recruitment Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes for various public sector clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality talent acquisition services. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of public sector hiring practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and candidates. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects within the public sector, supporting organizations that serve communities and improve public services.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within the public sector or a similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of public sector employment policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for public sector clients, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, local authorities, and other public sector organizations to understand their staffing needs.
  • Create compelling job descriptions and advertisements to attract qualified candidates.
  • Utilize various sourcing channels, including social media, job boards, and networks, to identify potential candidates.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities and candidate information.
  • Stay informed about changes in public sector employment laws and best practices to ensure compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
