What is the purpose of the Data Analyst?
This role plays a key part in generating income to support the NSPCC's mission. You'll contribute by providing insight and analysis to maximise the impact of our fundraisers and other organisational activity.
What will I be doing as a Data Analyst?
- Deliver insights and analysis that deliver actionable insights and drive effective work throughout the organisation.
- Effectively gather requirements and work with stakeholders so insights and analysis meet the business need.
- Apply curiosity and creativity to your data analysis to deliver insights and analysis.
- Communicate findings from reporting, insights and analysis to non-technical audiences.
- When required help prepare data for direct marketing communications exports
What skills do I need to be a Data Analyst?
- Experience of effectively analysing complex data and gaining meaningful insight from it.
- Experience of communicating data analysis or research findings in a clear way to a range of audiences.
- Experience of using SQL to manipulate data to identify, analyse and identify trends.
- Experience of using an analysis tools (such as Python, R, Salesforce, DAX, FastStats or a CRM tool) to query and analyse data.
- Experience of reporting tools (Power BI or similar).
- Ability to identify and devise creative solutions and opportunities and to research and evaluate their viability.
