Data Analyst – Reporting & Visualisation
Location: London – Hybrid
Salary: £50,000–£60,000
We are seeking a Consultant, Data Analyst – Reporting & Visualisation to join a leading change and transformation consultancy within its Technology & Data Practice. Working with clients across a range of transformation programmes, you'll help turn data into clear insights that support better business decisions.
As a Consultant Data Analyst, you'll combine strong technical capability across Power BI, SQL, data visualisation, and data modelling with the ability to work directly with clients and translate complex data into clear, actionable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualisations.
- Build and maintain semantic and dimensional data models, working across the data lifecycle.
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Product Owners to support end-to-end data solutions.
- Engage directly with clients to understand requirements and translate them into actionable reporting solutions.
- Analyse datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and support executive decision-making.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues impacting reporting and insights.
- Support data governance, metric definitions, data ownership, and data cataloguing activities.
- Create clear client deliverables and support adoption through training and enablement.

Experience you'll need
- Strong commercial experience with Power BI and data visualisation.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Experience with data modelling, including Star Schema and Kimball principles.
- Understanding of Data Warehousing, Lakehouse, and Medallion architectures.
- 3 years of work experience in a consulting or client-facing environment.
- Ability to work independently across reporting and analytics workstreams.
- Experience collaborating with Data Engineers, Architects, and Product Owners.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Tableau, Looker, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience supporting data governance, metadata, and business glossary activities.
