About Truespeed
At Truespeed, we’re on a mission to transform broadband across the UK. We’re a rapidly growing full-fibre broadband provider, bringing reliable, high-speed connectivity to communities across the South West, North West and South East of England.
We’re building our own full-fibre network and are passionate about delivering a better experience for our customers and the communities we serve. As we continue to grow, data is becoming increasingly important in helping us understand our customers, improve our services and make smarter decisions.
We’re looking for someone who can help us turn that data into meaningful insight and real business impact.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing Analytics team and help shape how we use data across the business.
You’ll be part of our Retail Analytics squad, working closely with teams across our two retail brands, Truespeed and Lila Connect. You’ll play an important role in helping us attract, serve and retain customers, using data to understand performance, identify opportunities and support better decision-making.
This is a role with plenty of variety and ownership. You could be building a Power BI dashboard that gives a team instant visibility of performance, exploring a dataset to uncover an opportunity, or working with stakeholders to answer an important business question.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just report what the data says, but wants to understand why it matters and what we should do about it.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference across the business. Your work will include:
- Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and self-serve reporting, helping teams understand performance and make confident decisions.
- Using data to investigate business challenges, identify trends and uncover opportunities to improve performance.
- Writing SQL and using dbt to build and maintain robust data models.
- Taking ownership of analytical work from the initial business question through to recommendation, delivery and measurement of impact.
- Working with stakeholders to understand their challenges and identify the best data, tools and approaches to solve them.
- Proactively exploring our data to uncover insights that could make a real difference to our customers and the business.
- Working with data owners and engineering teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Helping shape requirements for new data pipelines and data feeds that enable better reporting and deeper insight.
- Facilitating workshops and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Turning complex analysis into clear, engaging and actionable insights.
- Helping us build a stronger data-driven culture by encouraging teams to use data in their everyday decision-making.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
