🚀 Data Analyst – 12-Month Contract | London
We’re hiring an experienced Data Analyst to join the Business Go-to-Market team of a leading global technology and digital platform business, supporting strategic decision-making across the EMEA region.
📍 King’s Cross, London – Hybrid (Tuesday–Thursday onsite)
đź’· ÂŁ38.36 per hour PAYE + holiday pay

⏰ 40 hours per week
The Role
This is not a traditional reporting-focused Data Analyst position. You’ll work on high-impact analytical projects looking at business performance across key EMEA markets, identifying where opportunities or challenges exist and turning complex data into clear recommendations and action plans.
You may be given a broad business question – for example, understanding what is driving a performance issue within a particular market or analysing the adoption of a new product – and will take ownership of the analysis from initial problem definition through to presenting your findings.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Background
The hiring team is particularly interested in candidates coming from analytically rigorous environments, including:
- Management consultancy / strategy consulting
- Technology or other data-intensive businesses
- Investment banking, financial services, or similarly analytical environments
Technical capability, particularly SQL, will form part of the interview assessment, so this role requires someone who is genuinely comfortable working hands-on with data rather than solely interpreting analysis produced by others.
