The opportunity
Apply4U is recruiting a Data Analyst on behalf of a client seeking practical, decision-ready reporting from its business data. This is a fully remote UK role for someone who can move confidently between raw data, analysis and clear stakeholder communication.
The role
You will work with organisational datasets to identify patterns, build reports and dashboards, check data quality and turn findings into concise insight for internal stakeholders. The role combines hands-on analysis with clear explanation of what the numbers mean and why they matter.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse datasets to identify trends, anomalies and patterns that may affect business performance.
- Create clear reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Turn analytical findings into concise, evidence-based observations that support business decisions.
- Check data for accuracy, consistency and completeness before reporting.
- Work with colleagues across the organisation to understand reporting needs and present findings clearly.

What we are looking for
- Previous experience working with business data and producing reports or analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data quality.
- Confident day-to-day use of Excel or a comparable data-analysis tool.
- Ability to explain findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfort working independently and managing priorities in a remote environment.

Desirable
- Experience with Power BI, SQL or comparable reporting and querying tools.
