About The Role

MSX International Limited is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at Ford Automotive in Dunton, Essex. As part of our European Uptime Management team, you will play a critical role in enhancing customer experience by minimizing vehicle downtime due to maintenance and repairs for our global automotive partner. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze data, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements to streamline processes across European markets.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative environment, utilizing your analytical skills to influence strategic decisions and operational efficiencies. You will be involved in extracting and analyzing data from internal systems, preparing comprehensive reports, and presenting findings to senior management. Your insights will directly contribute to reducing vehicle downtime, improving parts supply chain efficiency, and optimizing dealer operations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong communication capabilities and experience in the automotive industry or supply chain management. You should be confident in presenting complex data insights to senior stakeholders and be adept at working with bespoke systems. Key qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in creating advanced reports and data analysis in Excel, with the ability to interpret results and recommend actions.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills for developing clear and impactful presentations.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new bespoke systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present findings to senior management.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on resolution and follow-through.
  • A consistent work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing dealer management system input data to monitor vehicle movements and workshop activities.
  • Identifying vehicles experiencing delays due to capacity constraints or parts supply issues.
  • Providing detailed reports and actionable insights to project management for dealer initiatives.
  • Spotting opportunities to enhance reporting processes and automate manual tasks to increase efficiency.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements based on data insights.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates effectively.
  • Maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement within the team.
