About The Role
The Senior Data Analyst role is a key position within Hunter Selection's client's expanding data team based in London, offering a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will play a vital role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining business-critical reporting and data transformation initiatives. This position requires a hands-on professional with a deep understanding of SQL, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and data modeling. The Senior Data Analyst will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to enhance data processes, deliver actionable insights, and contribute to the evolution of a modern data platform. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about data analysis and keen to work in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Advanced SQL skills, including T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and database development experience.
- Proven commercial experience working with Microsoft Fabric, including Dataflows and Pipelines.
- Strong expertise in Power BI development.
- Experience in data quality management, data governance, and reporting solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A background in data modeling and warehouse design.
- Knowledge of Azure technologies, Logic Apps, or the Power Platform, along with exposure to data governance or remediation projects, will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions to support business reporting and analytics.
- Design and develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Utilize Microsoft Fabric tools, including Dataflows and Pipelines, to facilitate data transformation, integration, and automation processes.
- Support and enhance data quality initiatives across multiple systems, ensuring compliance with data governance standards.
- Build and maintain scalable data models and data warehouse structures to support business intelligence activities.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and deliver tailored data solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in data capture, reporting, and governance, recommending innovative solutions.
- Participate in data-related projects, providing technical expertise and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
