Job Description
The Data Analyst will support different departments by transforming raw information into clear reports, useful insights, and practical recommendations.
The role will involve working with business data from multiple sources, checking its accuracy, and identifying trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of reporting processes and dashboards used by management and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Collecting and consolidating data from internal systems and business sources.
- Reviewing datasets to identify inconsistencies, missing information, and data quality issues.
- Preparing recurring reports and performance summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Analysing operational, commercial, and customer-related data.
- Identifying trends, patterns, and potential areas for business improvement.
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools.
- Tracking key performance indicators and highlighting significant variations.
- Working with different departments to understand reporting requirements.
- Documenting data sources, reporting processes, and analytical methodologies.
- Presenting findings and recommendations in a clear and accessible format.

Requirements
- Previous experience in data analysis, business reporting, operations analysis, or a related area is preferred.
- Strong numerical reasoning and ability to identify relevant information within large datasets.
- Good knowledge of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases is considered an advantage.
- Experience with reporting or visualisation platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is desirable.
- Ability to clean, organise, and structure data from different sources.
- Good understanding of business KPIs and performance reporting.
- Ability to explain analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work on multiple projects.
- A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline is desirable.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
