The Opportunity: Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you will primarily focus on day-to-day BAU (business as usual) reporting. This will include working on data and reporting casework and delivering one-off analytical reports and commercial analysis. Additionally, you will work with the wider team and assist in various ad-hoc data and reporting projects as required.

Based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, we offer solutions to manage spend effectively and improve performance, working with both public and private healthcare and non-healthcare providers to optimise the use of products and services to identify cost saving opportunities and best value.

DUTIES (included, But Not Limited To)
- Deliver BAU analytical requests in a proactive and value focused manner
- Ensure that business requirements are captured correctly and that all cases are recorded and processed according to agreed procedures and governance
- Data collection, cleansing, manipulation, and analysis using Excel and other available tools
- Ensure that all allocated queries and cases are dealt with and responded to in a timely manner.
- Deliver accurate analytical reports and analyses
- Identify and suggest areas for improvement and automation.
- Collaborate with the wider team and assist with any data and reporting tasks as required.
- Work on complex casework with greater autonomy
- Mentor and support junior Data Analysts
- Represent the D&I team at functional and business meetings at specialist and manager levels

- Developing ad-hoc reports and analysis in Excel.
