Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Bristol

Hours: Full time, permanent

You're reading this ad, so you're ready to outthink. To take your skills, knowledge and experience beyond what you thought possible. And TMP268 is the place to do it.

TMP268 is a creatively strategic marketing agency, home to the Armed Forces Recruitment Service. Protecting the nation begins here.

And what does that mean for you? It means new challenges to rise to. Being encouraged and empowered to outthink at every opportunity. It means creating industry-first solutions, harnessing emerging tech, and realising AI's potential to create human connection. It means feeling valued for everything you bring. And work you can be proud to call your own, whatever your role.

The role

We're looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing team in Bristol, working closely with our Data Lead to turn complex marketing and recruitment data into meaningful insights that make a difference.

As part of the TMP268 team, you'll play an important role in supporting the Armed Forces Recruitment Service (AFRS), helping to measure the effectiveness of marketing activity for the British Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force. From digital advertising and website performance to social media, CRM and recruitment data, you'll explore a wide range of information to understand what's working, identify opportunities and help shape better decisions.

Your day-to-day work will involve gathering, combining, cleansing and analysing data from multiple platforms and sources. You'll produce regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards and visualisations, making sure the information you share is accurate, accessible and genuinely useful. Whether you're looking at campaign performance, media spend, engagement, conversions or return on investment, you'll help turn the numbers into a clear story.

You'll work with tools and platforms including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, DV360, GA4 and Adobe Analytics, alongside reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau and Domo. You'll also use SQL to explore and interrogate datasets, uncovering trends and patterns that can help improve campaign performance and the experiences of prospective recruits.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is a role where your analysis will have a real purpose. You'll support campaign measurement, testing and optimisation, contribute to attribution and forecasting projects, and help our CX specialists understand and improve candidate journeys. You'll also play a part in maintaining accurate campaign tracking, tagging standards and data governance, helping to ensure that our marketing decisions are built on reliable information.

Working across internal teams, consortium partners, technology providers and client stakeholders, you'll become a trusted source of performance insight. You'll share findings, support collaborative decision-making and help ensure that marketing activity is informed by robust data.

As our team continues to grow, you'll have the opportunity to champion marketing analytics best practice, share your knowledge and help build a culture where data and insight are at the heart of better decision-making.

Who we're looking for

You'll have experience in a Data Analyst, Marketing Analyst, Digital Analyst or similar role, with a good understanding of digital marketing, media performance and how analytics can support business objectives. You'll have experience working with SQL, building dashboards and using visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Domo. Familiarity with GA4, Adobe Analytics or similar platforms will also be valuable.

We're looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail and a genuine curiosity about what the data can reveal. You'll understand key marketing metrics, campaign tracking and data quality, and be comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You'll be organised, collaborative and confident building relationships with a range of stakeholders. Experience in a marketing, media or agency setting would be useful, but we're equally interested in your willingness to learn, adaptability and enthusiasm for using data to make a real difference.
