Data Analyst – Records Management & Remediation
We are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst with Record Management and Remediation experience to join one of our Global Insurance Clients on a 6-month contract.
Please note this role is Inside IR35 and adhoc travel to Reigate
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for analysing, reconciling and transforming large and complex records management data sets to support data governance, records remediation, retention compliance, and defensible destruction initiatives. The role delivers management information, data quality improvements, and reporting through SQL and Power BI solutions, while partnering with project, records management, and business teams across multiple countries.

Technology & Tools
- SQL Server / relational databases
- Power BI dashboards and reporting
- Data modelling and ETL processes
- Data quality assurance and reconciliation techniques
- Microsoft Excel and advanced data analysis
- Records Management platforms such as Opus
- Data classification, retention, and legal hold processes
Skills & Experience
- Significant experience as a Data Analyst working with large and complex data sets.
- Strong SQL development, data modelling, and database management capabilities.
- Experience building management information and dashboards using Power BI.
- Knowledge of data governance, records management, data retention, or information governance programmes.
- Understanding of data quality frameworks, data mapping, and reconciliation methodologies.
- Experience working in Insurance or financial services environments.
- Knowledge of PII handling, retention obligations, and data privacy principles is desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
