Founded in 2022 and now in its fifth year in business, our agency is growing as demand for our services has increased. We are looking for a highly capable data & analytics specialist to support our team throughout this growth and beyond. This role is best suited for someone looking to expand their skillset and solve complex challenges. They will report to our Data & Analytics Lead.

We are looking for an experienced data & analytics specialist who has a demonstrable record of improving online marketing performance with data & analytics (especially advertising). They will be tasked with delivering technical solutions in a consultative manner, working closely with external and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate can boil down the complex into clear, easy-to-follow steps; without losing effectiveness in the process.
Our analytics proposition revolves around several core solutions for which we act as a centre of excellence. Those are: Conversion Signal Optimisation, Online Media Optimisation (& Attribution) and Customer Science. We are also developing expertise in Conversion Rate Optimisation. The successful candidate will take ownership of these solutions; delivering them for clients, empowering team members and sharing with prospective collaborators. There will also be significant scope for innovation and solution development.
This will be both challenging and rewarding as the work is cutting-edge. Opportunities to learn new technologies and techniques are available and encouraged. This role is therefore best suited to ambitious candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Data & Analytics Consultancy
- Build effective relationships with both clients and team members, maintaining clear communication in a constructive manner;
- Take a proactive approach to problem solving: identifying relevant solutions, scoping out projects and achieving buy-in from stakeholders;
- Deliver impactful outcomes; presenting pre- and post- project updates, reports and analyses;
- Assisting agency Leads with strategic planning, proposals, pitches, etc.

Solutions Ownership
- Be primary point of contact for data & analytics solutions, owning documentation and maintenance of best practice;
- Conduct audits and research, providing in-depth analysis on the state-of-play, plus actionable recommendations;
- Create impactful reports and presentations, clearly communicating ideas, concepts and results;
- Improve analytical and/or scientific approach across the agency; sharing hypotheses, testing assumptions and delivering proven outcomes;
- Train team members and clients in our “Get To Good” best practices;
- Assist Leads in commercial ownership of projects.
Data Management & Operations
- Own end-to-end data management, from source to delivery, including
- Data collection (Google Tag Manager)
- Data manipulation and modelling (Funnel.io, Google Sheets)
- Architecture and storage (BigQuery/SQL)
- Exploration and analysis (Google Analytics, Google Ads & more)
- Reports & Visualisation (Looker Studio)
- Own measurement planning for all clients, maintaining conversion documentation;
- Manage Conversion Signal Optimisation for advertising clients: identifying measurement gaps, designing and implementing solutions;
- Own and implement tracking solutions, such as Stape, Conversions API, etc;
- Adapt automation to improve speed and quality of decision making; e.g. through Zapier, Large Language Models, Context Engineering and more.
Media Measurement & Optimisation
- Assist performance (advertising) team in decision making; especially advertising budget utilisation across channels, platforms and more;
- Assist with identifying and maximising utility of attribution models and other media measurement methods;
- Assist in report creation and analysis from ad platforms, web analytics and third party technology (e.g. Triplewhale), to inform media channel decisions and in-platform optimisation.
Analysis & Optimisation
- Undertake ad-hoc and structured analysis of digital marketing or web data - distill findings to turn insights into actionable recommendations for our clients;
- Utilise optimisation and experimentation frameworks, such as Conversion Rate Optimisation;
- Aggregate and assimilate insights from a variety of sources - social media, search engines, CRMs - to develop customer insights and inform segmentation, targeting and positioning (Customer Science).

Project Management
- Own multiple live projects at any given time, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained, utilising our project management system (Teamwork);
- Regularly communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders;
- Proactively monitor any shortcomings in timings or quality.
Team Management
- Although not an initial requirement, this role will be expected to manage junior team members in the future, conducting fortnightly 1-2-1s, 6-monthly reviews and co-owning OKRs;
- External staff management may also be required in future.
Contribute towards marketing projects both for the company and clients
- Input into marketing materials
- Assist with marketing campaigns
Essential Criteria
- 4+ years experience working in data & analytics, preferably agency-side;
- In-depth knowledge and experience of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager;
- Highly strategic thinker, proactive, and driven
- Proven success in Data Visualisation, e.g. Google’s Data Studio;
- Knowledge and experience of quality assurance for, and testing of, tag implementations.
Desirable Criteria
- Working knowledge of digital advertising platforms, e.g. Google Ads, Meta Ads, etc.;
- Experience of CRM platforms, e.g. Hubspot, Salesforce;
- Experience of marketing automation platforms, e.g. Marketo, Pardot;
- SQL and using BigQuery plus Google Cloud, or other data warehouse tools;
- Familiarity with attribution solutions, e.g. Google Ads, Meta Ads, TripleWhale, Northbeam;
- Knowledge of web development, including the use of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

- Salary £35,000-£50,000 per year DOE
