Where you’ll be working
You'll join our Mortgages function, helping turn data, customer insight and market intelligence into meaningful actions that influence products, pricing and customer experiences. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll help uncover trends, identify opportunities and support decisions that improve outcomes for customers and the business.
Exposure to customer behaviour, market trends, pricing performance and data-driven decision making will help build a strong understanding of how insight supports the development of mortgage products and services.
Location
At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.
For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, based at our Swindon office.

RESPONSIBILITIES
What you’ll be doing on the Data & Analytics Development Programme - Mortgages
Our Data & Analytics Development Programme intake date is 6th September 2027.
During the programme, you'll join high-performing teams that support customer insight, analytics, product performance and data-driven decision making.
You'll start with an induction, where you'll learn more about Nationwide, connect with colleagues and build the foundations for your role. You'll then join your team and follow a personalised learning pathway that brings together hands-on experience, role-specific training, digital learning and interactive workshops. You'll also hear from leaders and industry experts, giving you fresh perspectives and practical ideas you can apply in your day-to-day work.

The programme provides opportunities to work with customer, product and market data, helping build specialist expertise while gaining an understanding of how data and insight support strategic business decisions.
No two days are the same. Activities could include analysing customer and product data, identifying trends, generating insight, supporting pricing decisions and helping shape improvements to products and customer journeys. Working with colleagues across Mortgages, you'll help translate information into actions that create better outcomes for customers.
The programme develops expertise in analytics, problem solving, stakeholder engagement and commercial awareness. Along the way, you'll gain valuable insight into how data influences decisions relating to products, customer experience and business performance.
There will also be opportunities to explore emerging technologies, machine learning and AI-enabled approaches that support insight generation and better decision making.
Build the experience, skills and confidence to progress towards Assistant Product Manager or related specialist roles within the Mortgages function.
