Salary: Minimum £35,000. Salary is dependent on location, role, and qualifications.

What Will You Do on the Programme?

As a Data Analytics graduate, you will:

  • Influence how we operate and support critical national infrastructure.
  • Optimise operations, reduce risk, and enhance the performance of vital assets across defence, nuclear, and emergency services.
  • Explore the full data lifecycle – from sourcing and cleaning datasets to uncovering patterns and presenting insights through clear, compelling visuals.
  • Build reports in Power BI, conduct statistical analysis, and create dashboards.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of our enterprise systems.
  • Contribute to projects that improve how we capture, manage, and use data.
  • Develop customer-facing applications and data solutions in Palantir Foundry.
  • Communicate insights, challenge assumptions, and contribute fresh ideas.
  • Help shape strategy, drive innovation, and improve the way teams work.

How Is the Programme Structured?

  • A two-year programme built around rotational placements.
  • Rotations last between three and six months.
  • Designed to give practical experience across various teams, tools, and challenges.
  • By the end of the programme, you will have a strong foundation in data analytics.

What Do You Need to Apply?

  • Achieved, or be on track to achieve, an (Hons) degree in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Operational Research, Computer Science, or Data Science.
  • Experience with Python or an interest in developing Python skills is advantageous.
  • Must be able to achieve and maintain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) clearance.
  • Under applicable national security legislation, this post may only be occupied by a sole UK national.

Where Will You Be Based?

  • Places are available in the Nuclear sector in Bristol.
  • Your home base will be the Babcock Technology Centre in Bristol, but some placements may be at other sites.
  • Some placements require full-time onsite attendance, while others offer hybrid working.
