About the Company
We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients for the role of Data Analytics Intern. This remote internship opportunity is suitable for students and recent graduates who are interested in working with data, generating valuable insights, and contributing to data-driven business decisions.
About the Role
This internship provides hands-on exposure to data analysis, reporting, visualization, and analytics platforms while working with professionals in a collaborative remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and organize data from various internal and external sources.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to discover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Analyze datasets to support business operations and decision-making processes.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using analytics tools.
- Assist in tracking key performance indicators and business metrics.
- Use SQL to extract, transform, and validate data for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with different teams to understand data requirements and business needs.
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reports and dashboards.
- Document analytical findings and prepare reports or presentations for stakeholders.
- Stay updated with emerging analytics technologies, tools, and industry practices.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
- Ability to manage tasks independently while effectively working with remote teams.

Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Familiarity with statistics and data analysis methodologies.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Basic understanding of Python for data analysis is an advantage.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and analytical approaches.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, Pivot Tables, and reporting features.
- Experience with SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
- Understanding of data cleaning and preparation techniques.
- Experience creating dashboards and analytical reports.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis methods.
- Strong data visualization and storytelling abilities.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
