About the Opportunity
We are recruiting a Data Analytics Intern on behalf of one of our clients. This opportunity is designed for students, recent graduates, and aspiring data professionals who want to develop practical analytical skills and gain experience solving real-world business challenges.
As an intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the complete data analytics process, from collecting and preparing data to identifying insights, building dashboards, and presenting recommendations that support business decisions.
What You’ll Do
- Collect, organise, clean, and transform data from multiple sources.
- Explore datasets to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and anomalies.
- Analyse business data and convert findings into meaningful insights.
- Write SQL queries to retrieve, filter, join, and analyse information.
- Use Python, pandas, NumPy, and Jupyter Notebook for data analysis and manipulation.
- Create charts, reports, dashboards, and visual presentations.
- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Identify data quality issues and assist with validation and accuracy checks.
- Review business and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Track KPIs and other important business performance metrics.
- Contribute to regular reporting and data-driven decision-making activities.
- Apply statistical techniques to support analysis when required.
- Translate business questions into structured analytical requirements.
- Document analytical methods, project progress, findings, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and wider teams.
- Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay informed about developments in data analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, and data visualisation.

Technical Skills
Familiarity with some of the following tools and concepts will be beneficial:

Who Can Apply?
This opportunity may suit candidates who:
- Are currently studying or have recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- Understand the fundamentals of data analytics.
- Have basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL or Python.
- Are familiar with Excel and general data manipulation.
- Understand basic statistical and analytical methods.
- Have an interest in data visualisation, reporting, and dashboard development.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Can work independently in a remote environment.
- Communicate effectively in writing and conversation.
- Pay close attention to detail and show a genuine willingness to learn.
- Can organise tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
