About the Opportunity
We are hiring a Data Analytics Intern on behalf of one of our clients. This opportunity is designed for students, recent graduates, and aspiring Data Analysts who want to develop their analytical skills and gain practical exposure to real-world data and business problems.
The selected candidate will work alongside experienced professionals and gain exposure to data collection, cleaning, analysis, visualization, reporting, dashboard development, and communicating actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, transform, and organize datasets from various sources.
- Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Analyze datasets to generate meaningful and actionable business insights.
- Write SQL queries to retrieve, filter, join, and analyze data.
- Use Python and relevant libraries for data analysis and manipulation.
- Create reports, charts, and visualizations to communicate analytical findings.
- Assist in developing and maintaining analytical dashboards.
- Identify data quality issues and support data validation activities.
- Analyze business and operational data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Track key performance indicators and relevant business metrics.
- Assist with recurring reporting and data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct statistical analysis where required.
- Translate business questions into analytical requirements.
- Document analysis, methodologies, findings, and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and other teams.
- Present insights and findings in a clear and understandable manner.
- Stay informed about developments in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Visualization.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Understanding of fundamental data analytics concepts.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
- Familiarity with Excel and data manipulation.
- Understanding of statistics and analytical techniques.
- Basic knowledge of data visualization and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic or personal projects involving Data Analytics or Business Intelligence.
- Experience working with real-world datasets.
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience creating dashboards or analytical reports.
- Familiarity with SQL databases.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis.
- Experience with Excel-based data analysis.
- A portfolio, dashboard, GitHub repository, or project work demonstrating practical skills is an advantage.
