We are adding a Data Analytics Internship to our team

We are adding a Data Analytics Internship to our team to support a new project for a London-based partner in the logistics sector. In this role, you will help us organize and interpret the data that powers their internal operations.

We are looking for someone who enjoys taking messy information and turning it into something clear and useful. This is a fully remote position where you will work alongside our developers to ensure our clients have the information they need to make sensible business decisions.

About Pixel Systems

Pixel Systems is a small, remote software agency. We do not build flashy consumer apps or marketing sites that disappear in a few months. Instead, we focus on the practical tools that teams actually use every day. Our work usually involves admin panels, CRM integrations, and the complex database migrations that other agencies try to avoid. Clients come to us when they need to replace a disorganized spreadsheet with a reliable database or when they need their different software tools to communicate with each other.

Our approach is straightforward and honest. We provide fixed quotes before we start any work, we host weekly demos to show progress, and we hand over everything (the code, the documentation, and even walkthrough videos) when a project is finished. We use reliable and well-tested technologies like Node, React, and Postgres because we want the software we build to be stable and easy for our clients to maintain over the long term. We are a team that prefers solving real operational headaches over chasing the latest industry trends.

The Role

As a Data Analytics intern, you will be focused on how data moves through the systems we build. For our London-based client, this means looking at their existing records and helping us map out how that information should be stored in a new, custom-built database. You will not be building complex theoretical models. Instead, you will be doing the essential work of cleaning data, checking for inconsistencies, and creating reports that show exactly what is happening in the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Your day-to-day tasks will involve:

  • Reviewing datasets from various sources to identify errors or missing information.
  • Writing basic SQL queries to pull specific reports for our development team.
  • Assisting in the migration of data from legacy systems into Postgres databases.
  • Building simple internal dashboards that help our clients track their daily operations.
  • Documenting where data comes from and how it is transformed within the system.
  • Participating in weekly demos to show how data is being visualized for the end user.
  • Testing our reporting tools to ensure the numbers match the original records.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who is organized and has a natural curiosity about how systems work. Since this is an entry-level internship, we do not expect you to be an expert, but you should have a solid foundation in logic and a willingness to learn our specific way of working. You should be comfortable working in a fully remote environment and be able to communicate clearly through writing.

  • A basic understanding of how databases are structured.
  • The ability to look at a large spreadsheet and identify patterns or errors.
  • Strong attention to detail (you are the type of person who double-checks the numbers).
  • A preference for clear, functional results over flashy designs.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own time.
  • Good written communication skills for documentation and team updates.
  • A logical approach to solving problems when the data does not look right.

Helpful Background

While not strictly required, it is helpful if you have some familiarity with the tools we use every day. This role is a paid position, and we offer a rate that is competitive and attractive for an internship in the current market. Working at Pixel Systems

Working at Pixel Systems is different from working at a large corporation. We do not have layers of middle management or endless meetings. We are a small team where everyone is expected to contribute and be honest about the work. Because we are fully remote, we rely heavily on clear documentation and asynchronous communication. You will have the chance to see how professional software is built and shipped to real clients without the drama or buzzwords often found in the tech industry.

We value stability and pragmatism. We ship code that works and data structures that last. As an intern here, you will be treated as a professional and given real tasks that contribute to the success of our projects. You will learn how to handle data in a way that provides actual value to a business, working on systems that help warehouse managers and operations teams do their jobs better every day.

We take pride in our reputation for being the team that fixes things. We are looking for someone who shares that commitment to quality and who wants to start their career by building something useful. Our team is small, our goals are clear, and we focus on delivering exactly what we promised to our clients.
