Data & Analytics Lead - Fabric / Azure
£80K - £100K
Fully remote - Some London office trips
We're working with a leading organisation going through a major data transformation, including a move from Azure SQL to Microsoft Fabric.
They're looking for a Data & Analytics Lead to take ownership of their regional data products, semantic models and business logic. This is a high-impact leadership role, acting as the right hand to the Director and the key link between Data, BI and the wider business.
The role
You'll be responsible for:
- Designing reusable data products, dimensional and semantic models
- Setting standards around business logic, KPIs, DAX, Power BI and data quality
- Translating complex business requirements into scalable data solutions
- Working closely with the Lead Data Engineer across the Microsoft Fabric environment
- Reviewing models and logic produced by the BI team
- Coaching technical teams and influencing senior business stakeholders
- Shaping the data roadmap, governance and operating model
- Exploring new Fabric, Power BI and AI capabilities

What we're looking for
- 7+ years' experience across Data Engineering, BI, Analytics Engineering or Data Modelling
- Advanced SQL
- Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX and Power Query
- Expert dimensional & semantic modelling
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric - Warehouse, Lakehouse, OneLake & Direct Lake
- Experience owning enterprise/cross-business-unit data models
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
