At ScottishPower, data plays a critical role in delivering smarter services, improving customer outcomes and supporting the transition to a cleaner energy future. As Data Analytics Manager, you'll lead the development of reporting, analytics and insight capabilities across Revenue Protection and Debt Operations, helping to drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance and business performance.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, shape new ways of working and work closely with industry partners and regulatory stakeholders in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.
What You'll Be Doing
- You'll lead the development of data-driven insight and reporting solutions that support Revenue Protection and Debt Operations activities across ScottishPower.
- Through detailed analysis, you'll identify trends, opportunities and risks, helping the business improve operational performance, maximise revenue recovery and strengthen regulatory compliance.
- You'll work closely with colleagues across the business, including SP Smart, SP Energy Networks, Regulation and senior leadership teams, to develop innovative reporting frameworks and business improvement initiatives.
- You'll also oversee key regulatory reporting activities, support compliance audits, represent ScottishPower within industry forums and lead a team focused on delivering high-quality analytical solutions that create measurable business value.
What You'll Bring
- We're looking for an experienced analytics leader with a passion for transforming data into meaningful insight.
- You'll bring strong analytical capabilities and extensive experience working with complex datasets, performance reporting and business improvement initiatives.
- You'll be comfortable interpreting data, identifying opportunities and delivering recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- You'll also have excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation. Experience leading teams, driving change and delivering projects within a regulated environment will be highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of the energy sector, regulatory compliance, revenue protection, debt operations or smart metering would be advantageous, along with advanced Excel expertise and experience of customer business systems and performance reporting tools.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
