Data & Analytics Manager

A financial and professional services business is seeking a Data & Analytics Manager to help shape how data and AI support commercial decision-making. Based in Belfast, this hands-on role combines stakeholder engagement, analytics, and technical delivery, with the freedom to explore ideas and turn business challenges into practical solutions.

What you need

  • Experience: Typically six or more years’ experience in business intelligence, data analytics, analytics consulting, or a related discipline.
  • Commercial awareness: Experience using data to understand revenue, margins, costs, or operational performance.
  • Stakeholder management skills: Including gathering requirements, constructively challenging assumptions, and presenting ideas to senior audiences.
  • Technical skills:
    • Advanced hands-on Power BI experience, including DAX, Power Query, semantic models, and management of reporting environments.
    • Strong SQL skills and confidence investigating complex datasets independently.
    • Practical experience building HTML dashboards or web-based analytical applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant visualization tools.
    • Experience applying generative AI, Copilot, AI agents, or automation to practical business problems.
  • Leadership experience: Managing or coordinating analysts, developers, or cross-functional delivery teams, including prioritizing work and reviewing quality.
  • Cloud data platforms: Familiarity with cloud data platforms, ideally Microsoft Fabric, and an understanding of data quality, governance, and security.
