Data Analytics Manager
We're looking for a hands-on Data Analytics Manager to lead Chip's Analytics team day to day. You'll make sure data requests, product dashboards, MI, analysis and operational controls are delivered to agreed priorities and standards, and you'll develop a team of analysts.
What you can expect to be doing:
- Line manage the analytics team, including Analysts and the Analytics Lead: 1:1s, objectives, performance and development.
- Own intake and prioritisation of data requests from across the business, and set and meet turnaround SLAs.
- Supply accurate and timely reporting, analysis and operational data to teams including Finance, Marketing, Product and Operations.
- Partner with Product Managers to support feature rollout, performance tracking and post-launch reviews.
- Own analytics-built operational controls, monitoring and MI, making sure they run on time, are documented and stay current.
- Allocate analysts across Product, balancing BAU demand against Product requirements.
- Work with the Analytics Lead to maintain coding, visualisation and data quality standards.
- Prioritise the team's automation and tooling requests, and make sure delivered tools are adopted and controlled.
Leadership
- Own hiring, development and performance management for the team.
- Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Support the Analytics Lead's growth as a technical specialist.
- Raise risks and capacity constraints early with the Head of Operations.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience managing or leading a team of data analysts, ideally in a fast-paced, product-led or regulated environment.
- Strong SQL and experience with BI tools; comfortable interpreting and challenging data.
- Experience prioritising competing requests from a range of stakeholders.
- Understanding of operational controls and data quality.
- Able to translate business problems into clear technical requirements.
- Strong data storytelling for a range of audiences.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organisation.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech or financial services.
- Familiarity with modern data tooling (e.g. Databricks, Python).
- Working knowledge of data governance, including safe use of AI tools with customer data.
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a related field.
What we’re really looking for: ✍️
We’re looking for someone who’s genuinely excited about Chip and energised by the opportunity to help build the future of wealth, making saving, investing and pensions simpler and more accessible for everyone.
We work in a regulated space, so the bar is high. But we’ve built a team of smart, thoughtful people who care about doing great work and enjoy doing it together. Technical skills matter, obviously. But they’re not the only thing we hire for.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We want real people. People with interests, perspective and personality. The best teams are made up of individuals who bring different experiences into the room, not just polished CVs and good interview answers.
So alongside the technical side, we’ll be looking for empathy, self-awareness, sound judgement, resilience and a collaborative mindset. People who are good to work with, especially when things get hard.
