Job Responsibilities:
A Mid-Level Analytics team member is responsible for managing setup, management and reporting of customers' digital analytics assets. Overseeing a portfolio of customers' digital analytics, a Mid-Level Analytics team member will take ownership of digital analytics relationships with customers and support the wider digital team in meeting their customers' needs and objectives.
The role offers a lot of freedom to help inform and guide customers to the most effective methods of digital analytics as well as problem-solve issues and report on performance.
We expect you to be an ‘expert’ in Google Analytics (GA), Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Looker Studio and help upskill Junior Analytics team members, along with the wider digital team and customers.

Overall
- Manage the creation of tracking matrixes for clients' Digital Analytics implementations
- Oversee the setup of digital analytics tracking using TMS such as Google Tag Manager
- Using data visualisation tools, such as Looker Studio, create reports for both customers and internal stakeholders based on briefs provided
- Analyse web analytics data and use it to make informed decisions and recommendations for both customers and internal stakeholders
- Attend appropriate calls/meetings with customers
- Add value to the planning and delivery of web analytics work by identifying opportunities for improvements in setups
- Provide client and internal training for GA, GTM and Looker Studio
- Proactively lead senior internal relationships & communicate technical subjects effectively
- Communicate more complex technical recommendations with 3rd Parties (e.g. web developers)
Key competencies:
- Able to demonstrate proficiency and leadership with (i) analysis, reporting & communication and (ii) technical understanding of relevant platforms and be known as a ‘thought leader’.
- Manage, define and lead training programs (internal and external) for Google Marketing Platforms.
- Identify knowledge gaps and effectively plan solutions
- Lead meetings and communication around day-to-day delivery for clients
- Deep understanding of tagging relating to media platforms
- Demonstrate more than technical competency, for example, commercial awareness, or project management skills

REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
- As a guide, we would expect a person to have a minimum of around 3 years in a Digital Analytics role using GA, GTM and Looker Studio
- Experience in the use of JavaScript, SQL and BiqQuery is also highly desirable
- A broad understanding of Digital media and Conversion Optimisation is beneficial
- Able to demonstrate proficiency at customer management, multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines
Skills & Knowledge:
- Drives successful results for themselves and for their team members on their customers
- Builds strong relationships with customers
- Ownership of a customer’s KPIs
- Able to carry out different kinds of work, including strategy, planning and implementing a plan across customers
- Able to carry out quality assurance of junior team members' work
- Naturally curious and starting to challenge the way things are done in a mature and professional way
- Basic delegation of tasks which would usually be handled by junior team members
