About Well Life Clinic
Well Life Clinic is a growing private healthcare business focused on delivering high-quality clinical care alongside an exceptional patient experience.
As the business expands, we are looking for a Data & Automation Analyst to join our Technology team and help us make better use of data across our clinical, operational and finance functions.
This is a newly created, hands-on role with the opportunity to help shape how Well Life uses data, reporting, automation and AI as we grow.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing, processing and analysing data from across the business, turning it into useful reports and insights for our teams.
You will work closely with clinical, operational and finance colleagues to understand their reporting needs, improve data quality and develop business-wide dashboards and reporting.
A key part of the role will also be identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and improve how data moves between systems.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems and finding smarter ways of doing things.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, clean, process and combine data from multiple business systems.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and KPIs across clinical, operational and financial areas.
- Work with teams across the business to understand their data and reporting requirements.
- Work with healthcare and clinical datasets, including clinical coding data.
- Monitor and improve data quality, consistency and accuracy.
- Identify manual or repetitive processes that could be automated.
- Build and maintain practical automation workflows between systems and teams.
- Support data imports, exports, migrations and system integrations.
- Help establish consistent data definitions and reporting standards across the business.
- Explore practical uses of AI to improve reporting, analysis and business processes.
- Support colleagues in making better use of data, automation and AI tools.
- Ensure sensitive clinical and business data is handled appropriately and securely.

About You
You will ideally have previous experience in a data, reporting, business intelligence or technology role and be comfortable working independently with data from multiple systems.
We have a strong preference for candidates with experience working with healthcare data, particularly clinical datasets and clinical coding data.
You will be:
- Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong in Excel and comfortable manipulating large datasets.
- Experienced with, or keen to develop further skills in, Power BI and Power Query.
- Ideally familiar with SQL or similar data-querying tools.
- Interested in workflow automation using tools such as Power Automate, Make or equivalent.
- Genuinely interested in AI and comfortable experimenting with AI tools.
- Able to turn business questions into useful reports, analysis or technical solutions.
- Confident communicating with clinical, operational, finance and senior colleagues.
- Proactive, curious and interested in improving how things work.

Experience with healthcare data, clinical coding, APIs, Python or healthcare systems would be particularly useful, although we are more interested in strong data fundamentals, problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn than in candidates who tick every technical box.
