You'll lead our Data Engineering and Business Intelligence capabilities, helping to develop our people, strengthen our ways of working and make sure data is being used effectively to support the wider business.

You'll work closely with our Architecture and Delivery Managers, as well as colleagues across the wider business, to make sure our data solutions are practical, scalable and aligned with where we're heading as an organisation.

You'll also have the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders across the firm, helping them understand what's possible with data and ensuring the information we provide is useful, trusted and easy to understand.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Work with stakeholders to understand their reporting and data needs and identify opportunities to do things better.
  • Provide technical oversight of data and BI delivery, ensuring solutions meet agreed standards and business requirements.
  • Champion the value of data across the firm and help colleagues make better use of the information available to them.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll be joining us at an exciting time, with the opportunity to help shape how our data function develops in the future. We're looking for someone who can balance the demands of today with a clear view of where we want to be tomorrow.

About You

We're looking for an experienced data professional who enjoys leading people just as much as they enjoy working with technology.

You'll have experience leading or managing Data Engineering and/or Business Intelligence teams, with at least five years' experience working in data-focused delivery environments. You'll ideally have experience managing a team of more than five people, including a mix of engineers and analysts.

Your background might be stronger in Data Engineering or Business Intelligence – what's important is that you're comfortable working across both areas and bringing them together to create a strong, joined-up data capability.

We're particularly interested in people who have:

  • Strong experience leading and developing data teams, with a genuine interest in coaching and supporting people to reach their potential.
  • Good technical knowledge of Microsoft data technologies, particularly Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience developing data standards, governance and ways of working.
  • The ability to make sound technical decisions while keeping things practical and achievable.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and explaining technical concepts in a clear and straightforward way.
  • A collaborative leadership style and the ability to build strong relationships across technical and non-technical teams.

Experience within a professional services environment would be helpful, but it's not essential.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who enjoys bringing people together, developing others and making a real difference. You'll be comfortable giving people direction without micromanaging, while creating an environment where the team can do their best work.
