Job Description

What if you could turn the vast amount of data generated by Corporate Affairs (made up of Global Communications, Public Affairs and Sustainability) into decisions that genuinely shape corporate reputation, audience engagement and business impact?

At Syngenta, we are creating a new role at the heart of Corporate Affairs: Data and Insights Manager – Corporate Affairs. This is an opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up. You will connect data that currently sits across channels, teams and markets, uncover the audience behind it, and help senior leaders make better, more evidence-led communications decisions.

From offline and online campaigns, media coverage and employee sentiment to website traffic and social performance, you will help us understand what is working, what is not and where we should focus next. If you enjoy bringing order to complex information, working with modern analytics and AI tools, and delivering insights to senior stakeholders that shape future plans, this role offers the scope to make a visible difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bring together qualitative and quantitative data from surveys, campaigns, owned, earned, paid, social, web, and internal communications channels into a coherent view of ranked performance.
  • Develop dashboards, reports and insight narratives that help senior Corporate Affairs leaders understand impact with relevant audiences, make decisions and improve future activity.
  • Partner with IT colleagues to develop data structures, databases and AI-enabled tools that improve data quality, accessibility and usability.
  • Lead Corporate Affairs reputation-measurement activity, working with agencies and internal stakeholders to understand key audience perceptions, sentiment and share of voice.
  • Assess campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve planning, investment and communications outcomes.
  • Provide timely insight during sensitive issues or crisis situations, helping leaders understand audience reaction, reputational risk and potential communications choices.
  • Help establish practical tagging, metadata standards and scoring systems, enabling stronger benchmarking and more reliable reporting over time.
  • Support internal communications: using data and emerging signals to understand employee readiness, confidence, and adoption during transformation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
