Are you passionate about transforming complex healthcare data into meaningful commercial insights?
We are partnering with a leading global pharmaceutical organisation to appoint a Data & Insights Manager within its Commercial and Marketing Operations team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of commercial decision-making, partnering with marketing, sales, finance and senior leadership teams to drive strategy through forecasting, analytics and market intelligence.
Working closely with the Head of Data & Insights, you will provide actionable recommendations that support business performance, optimise customer engagement and help commercial teams respond to the evolving pharmaceutical market.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver market, brand and competitor analyses to support strategic and operational planning.
- Provide competitive intelligence and identify relevant developments across the market.
- Monitor brand performance through KPI reporting, analysis and insight generation.
- Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for commercial stakeholders.
- Lead market research and third-party analytics projects aligned with individual brand and business needs.
- Support the development and enhancement of commercial reporting, data and dashboarding capabilities.
- Build and maintain robust market, patient-number and revenue forecasts.
- Partner with finance and cross-functional stakeholders to develop appropriate forecasting assumptions.
- Create and present a clear forecasting narrative to local and regional senior leaders.
- Support data-driven customer engagement initiatives, including account and customer segmentation.
- Contribute to next-best-action triggers, campaign optimisation and other customer-engagement initiatives.
- Partner with commercial stakeholders to embed data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Coach and support less experienced members of the Data & Insights team.
- Promote best practice and encourage the wider adoption of data and insights across the business.
- Keep abreast of developments in reporting, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and pharmaceutical market intelligence.

About You
We are interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Experience within a Data, Analytics, Insights or Commercial Excellence function.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex commercial information.
- Essential experience in market, patient-number or revenue forecasting.
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or wider healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical datasets such as IQVIA, NHS data, specialist share data, in-market sales data or ex-factory sales data.
- Experience using Power BI or a related reporting tool such as Tableau or Qlik.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
