Salary: A GBP 34,237 - A GBP 38,510 per annum
Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week)

About The Role
Are you passionate about turning data into meaningful insight? We're looking for a proactive and analytical Data and Performance Officer to support performance reporting, data quality improvement, responding accurately to frequent information requests, and to undertake analysis to support evidence-based decision making across Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service.

- Support the production and ongoing development of performance dashboards, reports, and management information.
- Analyse data trends and performance across Prevention, Protection, Response, and Support Services.
- Produce statistical analysis to support strategic decision making.
- Respond to information requests, including Freedom of Information requests.
- Support data quality, governance, GDPR compliance, and implementation of the NFCC Fire Data Management Standard.
- Extract, validate, and report data using SQL and reporting tools.
What we're looking for
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience working with data, reporting, and performance information.
- Advanced Excel skills and an eye for detail.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
- Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and reporting systems is desirable.
- Relevant analytical qualification or equivalent experience.
There will be a requirement for some travel for which a pool car will be provided.
Required Qualifications And Experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following qualifications and experience:
- HNC/Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) / BTEC or relevant demonstrable experience and training, with significant analytical or statistical element.
