Computer Vision Specialist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50 - $90/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Review and analyze video footage from robotic systems to identify key visual features and anomalies.
- Annotate video content with precision, ensuring accurate labeling and categorization of objects, movements, and events.
- Provide detailed feedback to enhance the quality and consistency of video-based datasets for machine learning applications.
- Collaborate with AI development teams to refine annotation protocols and contribute domain insights.
- Document observations and maintain meticulous records of annotation processes and outcomes.
- Participate in periodic reviews to ensure annotation accuracy and address ambiguities or edge cases.
- Identify potential improvements in video capture or annotation strategies based on observed data patterns.

Requirements
- Proven expertise in computer vision concepts and methodologies, with hands-on experience in video analysis or annotation tasks.
- Familiarity with tools and platforms commonly used for video labeling, annotation, or dataset preparation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to document findings and articulate technical insights.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, consistent annotations.
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables within a remote, collaborative project environment.
- Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, or related domains is a plus.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new annotation standards or contribute to evolving project needs.
