Active SC Clearance Required, Eligible Candidates Will Be Considered

Our Client is hiring for a reputed client on a 6-month contract, providing crucial technical architecture capability for a data migration discovery. You'll be part of the Legacy Tech Debt programme, working closely with client teams to shape design decisions that are safe, viable, and aligned to the wider architecture.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Guide technical design decisions for a data migration discovery
  • Assess the feasibility of data extraction approaches, ensuring safety and viability
  • Support architecture alignment with wider standards and direction
  • Analyse a complex estate of 54 Oracle database instances
  • Oversee reverse engineering activities
  • Assure the quality of key technical artefacts produced during discovery

  • Strong data architecture and technical design experience, ideally across complex estates
  • Ability to evaluate data extraction feasibility and risk with a pragmatic, engineering-led mindset
  • Confidence working with multiple stakeholders, including delivery partners and client teams
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using reverse engineering to inform architecture decisions
  • A quality-focused approach to ensuring technical artefacts meet the bar for discovery outcomes
