Job Title: AI Data Architect - AWS - Snowflake

Location: London - 2 days per week in the office

Salary/Rate: £732 per day inside IR35

Start Date: 05/10/2026

Job Type: Contract - 12 months

Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading data analytics clients! They are currently looking for a skilled AI Data Architect to join their team for a twelve-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

You will be designing and evolving our enterprise data architecture, with a strong emphasis on enabling AI and advanced analytics. This role is pivotal in enabling seamless data interoperability to support AI-driven innovation across the organisation. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure our data ecosystem is optimized for both operational efficiency and AI readiness.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead data modernisation initiatives across our foundational data estate, collaborating closely with delivery teams to drive and guide transformation.
  • Align Product, Data and Technology predictive and real-time data capabilities; designing architectures that support real-time ingestion and processing, predictive modelling and analytics. Partner with data science and engineering teams to ensure models can be operationalised at scale.
  • Embed privacy by design principles, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical AI standards.
  • Document and communicate data architecture, lineage, and metadata to promote transparency and facilitate reuse.
  • Engage in domain learning by asking insightful questions and obtaining meaningful answers.

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Commercially grounded – Align architectural decisions to clear business outcomes, ensuring data investments support revenue, customer value, and operational performance.
  • Pragmatic architect – Balance long-term standards with near-term delivery, applying structure and governance without slowing down execution.
  • Influential leader – Build alignment across product, data, and engineering through credibility and clarity, driving decisions without relying on hierarchy.
  • Future-oriented – Anticipate how data architecture must evolve to support AI, knowledge graphs, and ecosystem integration, designing for scale and adaptability.
  • Highly AI literate – Strong understanding of LLMs and modern AI practices, ensuring data architecture supports scalable model deployment.
