Data Architect | Azure & Microsoft Fabric | Public Sector

We’re looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a Discovery engagement supporting a major public sector transformation programme.

The work centres on understanding a complex existing data landscape, how the organisation collects and integrates information, and how it can be better structured and used to support future services and decision-making.

You'll assess the current state across multiple use cases and help determine the right future approach, including where technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure and AI can add genuine value.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting current-state data architecture assessments
  • Mapping and assessing data flows and integrations
  • Understanding how data is collected, structured, shared and consumed
  • Identifying limitations and opportunities within the existing data landscape
  • Developing data architecture options across multiple use cases
  • Helping define future-state data architecture
  • Assessing the suitability of Microsoft Fabric, Azure and AI-enabled approaches
  • Working alongside Technical Architecture and wider Discovery colleagues
  • Providing clear, evidence-based architecture recommendations

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
