Our client is a leading global investment bank with a strong presence across financial markets and commodities. They are now looking for an experienced Data Architect to help shape and deliver their enterprise-wide data strategy, working across business and technology teams to ensure data remains a strategic asset across the organisation.

Responsibilities

The successful Data Architect will have strong experience across enterprise data architecture and strategy, Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse platforms, Master Data Management, Data Integration and OLTP database solutions, alongside a solid understanding of Capital Markets data domains including Trade, Sensitivities and Market Data.

  • Define data architecture principles, standards and governance.
  • Design solutions that support both current and future business requirements.
  • Work closely with senior Business and IT stakeholders.
  • Develop data models and architecture artefacts.
  • Ensure data is managed with the required levels of quality, integrity, security and traceability.

Requirements

  • Strong experience across cloud and on-premise data technologies.
  • Exposure to RDBMS, NoSQL, Data Lakes, AWS Glue, EMR and Azure Data Factory particularly valuable.
  • Good understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data integration, data lineage and the wider data engineering landscape.
