Role Summary
Seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer / Data Solution Architect to lead the analysis and solution design of a next-generation enterprise Data & Analytics platform. The role focuses on building an AWS and Databricks-based Operational Data Hub, defining data architecture, ingestion strategies, data pipelines and implementation roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze source systems, data structures, and integration requirements.
- Design scalable data architectures, ingestion strategies, pipelines, and data models using AWS and Databricks.
- Define enterprise data products and end-to-end data flows.
- Establish data quality, governance, lineage, security, and access standards.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
- Develop target architecture, technical designs, implementation plans, and delivery roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership during the transition from design to implementation.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience as a Data Architect, Lead Data Engineer, or Solution Architect.
- Hands-on expertise in Databricks, AWS, Apache Spark / PySpark, and Delta Lake.
- Strong knowledge of data engineering, data modelling, data pipelines, and lakehouse architecture.
- Experience designing enterprise data platforms, ingestion strategies, and data products.
- Understanding of data governance, security, lineage, and data quality.
- Strong client-facing communication, consulting, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to Have
- Collibra and/or Immuta.
- Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical / Drug Development experience.
- Experience delivering large-scale enterprise data platforms from design through implementation.
