Enterprise Data Architect

Enterprise Data Architect required to join a major enterprise client on a long-term engagement, working 2 days per week on-site in the West Midlands.

You’ll provide client-side leadership across data architecture, governance, strategic planning and stakeholder engagement, helping shape data capability across a complex enterprise environment.

Key Duties

  • Define and maintain enterprise data architecture standards and principles.
  • Provide architecture governance, assurance and design reviews.
  • Develop data platform and data product roadmaps.
  • Assess the impact of business and technology change.
  • Work with enterprise architects, delivery teams, suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Support transformation programmes and architecture documentation.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and best-practice guidance.

  • Strong enterprise data architecture experience.
  • Experience across complex cloud, on-premise and SaaS environments.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure.
  • Understanding of data governance, integration, metadata and data virtualisation.
  • Proven architecture governance and design assurance experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Public sector or regulated environment experience is desirable.
