About the Role

We're supporting a major programme seeking an experienced Data Platform Architect to lead the design and delivery of an enterprise-scale Snowflake data platform.

This opportunity is suited to someone who has successfully implemented Snowflake platforms from the ground up and can provide expert guidance on architecture, governance, security, operating models, and long-term platform strategy. This is a genuine architecture role, not a data engineering position.

You'll work with senior stakeholders, data teams, and cloud specialists to establish a scalable, secure, and high-performing Snowflake capability within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and implementation of a Snowflake data platform.
  • Define governance frameworks, security controls, and platform standards.
  • Establish best practices and operating models across the organisation.
  • Provide architectural leadership across data and cloud initiatives.
  • Drive platform optimisation, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align platform capabilities with organisational objectives.
  • Apply lessons learned from previous Snowflake implementations to shape a successful platform strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
