Do you have a strong knowledge of Data Architecture within regulated financial environments?
You could be progressing your career in an impactful role at a tech driven, global Asset Manager with multiple billions of dollars under management.
About the Role
As a Data Architect you'll define how data is organised, governed and used across the firm, setting the principles, standards, patterns and target states that shape major data decisions. Collaborating across Investment, Business and Technology teams, you'll provide architectural direction across key data initiatives and ensure the firm's data landscape supports strategic business and investment objectives.
You'll define and evolve enterprise data architecture, maintaining architectural views of key domains, data products, flows and assets. You'll establish standards covering data modelling, metadata, lineage, master and reference data and data quality, while providing guidance on how data should be sourced, integrated, stored and consumed across operational and analytical use cases.
A key focus will be ensuring data is structured and governed for reliable AI and analytics consumption, with the quality, metadata, lineage and context required to support effective use. You'll work closely with delivery teams, architects and platform engineering to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, governance and wider technology strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
