The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a major transformation programme, helping to design and deliver enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions.

This is a hands-on architecture role where you'll shape modern data platforms, cloud migration initiatives, data management capabilities, and analytics solutions. You'll work across the full data lifecycle, providing technical leadership from solution design through to implementation and live operation.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, leading technical teams, and influencing architecture decisions across large-scale programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and govern enterprise-level data architectures across complex environments.
  • Define solutions covering data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouses, data virtualisation, and modern data pipelines.
  • Provide architectural leadership across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid platforms.
  • Design data management frameworks covering metadata, lineage, quality, governance, ownership, and classification.
  • Support the adoption of AI-enabled data and analytics capabilities.
  • Ensure architecture aligns with business requirements, governance standards, and best practices.
  • Guide delivery teams through complex design and implementation decisions.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams.
  • Support solution governance, architecture reviews, and technical assurance activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
