About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Architect to join the Guinness Team. This is a permanent, full-time position (35 hours per week) based in either our London or Oldham office. We offer a hybrid working arrangement, combining office and remote working.

The purpose of the role is to establish, lead and evolve Guinness's enterprise data architecture capability, ensuring data is structured, governed and integrated as a strategic asset that enables business outcomes, regulatory compliance and informed decision-making.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who has proven experience defining enterprise data architecture, enterprise data models, and domain architectures within complex organisations. You will have strong expertise in modern data platforms, integration architecture, master data management, metadata governance, and data quality frameworks, alongside hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and data governance tools such as Purview or OneTrust. The successful candidate will be able to translate business strategy into clear architectural standards and roadmaps, while building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels to drive successful outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
