Data Architect – Azure / GCP / Microsoft 365
Salary: Up to £65,110 basic + £10,250 skills allowance (London based candidates: Additional £4,613 London allowance)
Contract: 12-month FTC
Location: London or Manchester or Birmingham
Working: Hybrid
We’re looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a large, complex organisation and play a key role in shaping its data architecture and wider technology landscape.
This is a hands-on strategic architecture role, working across Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft 365. You’ll be involved in significant data change, designing scalable solutions and helping ensure data can be securely integrated and used across cloud platforms, existing systems and third-party technologies.

You’ll take ownership of architecture across key projects, setting direction around data modelling, integration, data management and solution design, while providing technical guidance and governance throughout delivery.
There’s also a strong stakeholder element. You’ll work across technology, data and business teams, translating complex requirements into practical architecture and influencing how solutions are designed and implemented.
We’re looking for experience across:
- Data Architecture or Enterprise Solution Architecture
- Large-scale and complex data transformation
- Azure and GCP multi-cloud environments
- Data modelling, data management and data lake architecture
- Microsoft 365 integrations and third-party systems
- Architecture governance, standards and secure-by-design principles
- Working with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary technical teams

Experience with TOGAF, alongside technologies such as Power BI, Power Automate and SharePoint Online, would be highly beneficial. An understanding of emerging AI/ML and automation use cases would also be valuable.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working available from several major UK locations. Some UK travel and on-site working will be required.
