We're currently supporting the delivery of a major UK Government transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Data Architect to join our growing data and architecture practice.
This role will support the delivery of a large-scale Oracle Fusion HR transformation, helping shape data architecture, migration strategy and governance across a complex, multi-supplier delivery environment.
The Role
As a Data Architect, you will lead the design and assurance of data architecture across a large Oracle Fusion HR programme, ensuring high-quality, secure and effective migration of critical HR data.
Working within multidisciplinary teams, you'll collaborate closely with programme leadership, technical architects, delivery partners and client stakeholders to define data strategy, support migration planning and provide architectural assurance throughout the programme lifecycle. You'll play a key role in managing data quality, mitigating delivery risks and ensuring the successful implementation of Oracle Fusion HR solutions.

Data Architecture & Strategy
- Design and maintain data architecture for a large Oracle Fusion HR implementation
- Define data models, standards and architecture principles to support programme delivery
- Develop data migration strategies for complex HR datasets
- Ensure data architecture aligns with organisational standards and long-term business objectives

Data Migration & Governance
- Lead data migration planning and support the successful migration of HR data into Oracle Fusion
- Define data mapping, transformation and validation approaches
- Promote best practice in data quality, governance and integrity throughout the migration lifecycle
- Identify and mitigate risks relating to data architecture and migration activities
Stakeholder Management & Assurance
- Work closely with senior client stakeholders, programme teams and third-party suppliers across a complex multi-supplier environment
- Provide independent advice and assurance on data architecture decisions and delivery approaches
- Support governance activities, ensuring architectural standards and programme objectives are met
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, solution architects and delivery teams across the wider programme
- Support continuous improvement of data architecture practices and governance
- Contribute to architectural decision making across the programme lifecycle
- Promote data best practice across multidisciplinary delivery teams
Essential Skills & Experience
- Active SC Clearance
- Proven experience as a Data Architect on large-scale Oracle Fusion programmes
- Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM / Oracle Fusion HR
- Demonstrable experience leading HR data migration activities
- Strong understanding of data architecture, modelling, governance and migration best practice
- Experience working within complex multi-supplier delivery environments
- Proven ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and provide independent architectural advice
- Experience identifying, managing and mitigating technical and delivery risks
- Experience providing client-side assurance across complex transformation programmes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within agile multidisciplinary teams
