Data Architect
Location: London
Type: Hybrid - 2 days per week
Salary: £90,000-£110,000 + 20-25% bonus
We’re working with a leading global bank that is continuing to grow its EMEA Data Architecture function, with two opportunities available for experienced Data Architects.
Overview
This is a business-facing architecture role, working across key areas of the bank to understand the current data landscape, define future-state architecture and help shape how data is managed across the organisation.
The Role
- Own current and target-state Data Architecture across business areas and domains.
- Define data domains, flows and conceptual/logical data models.
- Work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Support Data Governance, architecture standards and frameworks.
- Contribute to significant transformation programmes across EMEA.
- Collaborate with Data Architects globally to drive consistency and best practice.

What We’re Looking For
- Strong Data Architecture experience.
- Banking experience is essential, ideally within a large/global bank.
- Strong Data Governance and Data Management knowledge.
- Experience with current/target-state architecture and data modelling.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A genuinely business-facing approach, rather than purely technical architecture.
- Experience within Corporate or Investment Banking, including areas such as Risk, Finance, Lending, Transactions or Compliance, would be particularly valuable.
