We're supporting a major rail industry programme seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead a high-profile discovery into the feasibility of live facilities data across the UK rail network.

This is a strategic, consultancy-style engagement focused on understanding what data exists, where it originates, how it can be trusted, and how it can be shared as a reusable industry asset.

You'll work across Network Rail, TOCs, ROSCOs, manufacturers and suppliers to assess data sources, APIs, telemetry, governance, standards and technical feasibility, producing recommendations that will shape future roadmap and investment decisions.

Essential Experience:

  • Proven Data Architecture experience
  • Strong discovery and feasibility background
  • Experience with APIs, real-time data, integration and governance
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • UK rail industry experience is essential
  • Ability to start in August and contribute immediately
