Data Architect - SAP S/4HANA
Government clearance required and up to 60% of the role will require travel
This role can be based in EITHER of the following locations: London, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, or Manchester
A leading global consulting organisation is seeking an experienced SAP Data Architect to shape data strategy and architecture across complex, large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
This is a senior leadership role combining data architecture, client advisory, transformation strategy, and team leadership, with a strong focus on building trusted, scalable, and AI-ready data foundations.
The Position
- Lead data architecture strategy across complex SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
- Design enterprise data solutions spanning Master Data, Data Governance, Migration, Quality, Integration, and Lifecycle Management.
- Define future-state data strategies alongside Enterprise Architects, Chief Data Officers, and senior business stakeholders.
- Help clients leverage SAP Business Data Cloud, Datasphere, SAP MDG, Business AI, and Joule.
- Ensure data is treated as a strategic asset across business transformation, AI, and analytics initiatives.
- Lead data-focused discovery, solution shaping, proposals, and executive presentations.
- Coach and develop data consultants while contributing to the growth of the wider SAP Data capability.

Your Background
- Significant experience leading enterprise data architecture across SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
- Deep expertise in SAP Master Data, Data Governance, Data Migration, Data Quality, and Enterprise Data Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of SAP's evolving data portfolio, including Business Data Cloud, Datasphere, and SAP MDG.
- The ability to engage confidently with CDOs, Enterprise Architects, and senior executives.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing future data leaders.
- Experience shaping data strategies, supporting business development, and presenting to executive audiences.
- A passion for building trusted, governed, and AI-ready data foundations that enable business transformation.
