Data Assurance Manager – Audit, Python, SQL, Tableau, Data Assurance, Analytics, Risk Management, Planning – Financial Services – Permanent – Up to £68,500 Base + Bonus

My client, a leading Financial Services consultancy, is seeking an experienced Data Assurance Manager to join its London-based office on a permanent basis.

As a Data Assurance Manager, you will:

  • Lead data quality assurance engagements across a diverse portfolio of Audit & Assurance clients.
  • Manage small, high-performing teams to understand and assess clients' data environments.
  • Execute data quality testing using established assurance frameworks.
  • Deliver actionable insights.
  • Develop clear and compelling Tableau dashboards and visualisations that communicate findings, business risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.

In addition, you will:

  • Take ownership of engagement delivery, including scoping, planning, budgeting, resource management, risk management, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients by leading meetings, presenting findings, and managing senior stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Have hands-on experience in Data Assurance, leveraging Python and SQL to automate testing and enhance analytics capabilities.

Skills required:

  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Proven experience working within an analytics, data assurance, modelling, or audit technology function in the Financial Services sector, either within a professional services firm or a FTSE 350 organisation.
  • Demonstrable experience leading Data Assurance, analytics, or audit technology engagements, managing multiple projects and teams while working to demanding reporting deadlines.
  • Advanced Python skills, including experience developing automated data quality tests, reviewing code, and communicating technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience designing Tableau dashboards and visualisations to communicate data quality findings, business risks, and analytical insights.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience querying large and complex datasets.
