Senior Data Business Analyst (BI & Reporting)
Remote | UK
We're looking for a Senior Data Business Analyst to act as the link between operational stakeholders and our Business Intelligence team.
You'll work closely with business leaders to understand the decisions they need to make, translate reporting requirements into clear specifications, agree KPIs and definitions, and ensure reporting products are fit for purpose before release.
This is not a hands-on development role. You'll work alongside BI Developers who build the solutions, while you take ownership of requirements, stakeholder engagement, testing, governance, and adoption.

Key responsibilities:
- Gather and document reporting requirements
- Work with stakeholders to define KPIs and business measures
- Act as the bridge between operations and BI Developers
- Coordinate user acceptance testing
- Validate reporting outputs and challenge data anomalies
- Manage reporting products throughout their lifecycle
- Promote best practice around reporting, governance, and data quality

You'll ideally have:
- Experience in a Business Analysis for BI projects is essential
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience translating business questions into reporting requirements
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Exposure to Power BI and SQL
- An understanding of data governance and reporting frameworks
